In 2022, seasoned architects Dave Purser and Terry White joined forces to found Purser White Architecture, a full-service architecture firm located in Nashville, Tennessee, to serve the national market and the booming middle Tennessee real-estate and construction market with their collective design experience and registration in TN, KY, GA, AL and OH.

While collaborating on several projects in their respective previous firms, Dave and Terry realized a significant synergy they wanted to further explore and develop.  With a combined 50+ years of design and consulting, Dave and Terry have the experience and knowledge to guide clients through the entire design and construction process.

Principal

Terry is an architect registered in Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, and Ohio.  In addition to launching his own firm in 2020, he has 23 years of experience working in medium and large-size Architectural Firms throughout Northeastern Ohio and most recently here in Middle Tennessee.

Terry’s architectural career has afforded him the amazing opportunity to develop designs for a wide range of project types including mixed-use developments, retail, single-family residential, multi-family residential, senior living, corporate offices, and worship spaces.  In service of his clients, he has relished the opportunity to create customized designs that uniquely reflect their functional and aesthetic sensibilities as he focuses on their satisfaction.

Dave Purser, RA, NCARB
Principal

Dave is an architect registered in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.  He has been designing and working in the Nashville market since his graduation from the University of Tennessee Architecture School in 2004.  Dave interned under Nashville native Henry Bledsoe, who was a prolific designer and architect of multi-family projects.  Dave followed suit with several of Nashville’s largest homebuilders by designing and refining their multi-family products – serving some clients for well over a decade.

Dave enjoys designing a variety of project types including commercial/retail, office buildings, multi-family residential, single family residential, warehouse, and worship spaces; but, he gains the most satisfaction from delivering to his clients quality and achievable designs that solve challenging project constraints in any project type.
